The ICP sensor is working and responding to changes in fuel pressure the IPR valve seems to be in working order and has a good duty cycle. The truck will start after extended time cranking and runs like total garbage before dying it doesnt sound like a lack of fuel issue (I own two 7.3L F350s). I spoke to the owner and was informed that they have had trouble starting the truck that has been getting progressively worse over the last year and a half, and had five or six injectors replaced inaddtion to the glow plugs (unknown if the UVC harness was replaced at that time, but it ohms out within spec and passed the wiggle test). I swapped the IDM for a known good one I have in the shop- still same codes. Double checked the wiring from the IDM to the injector connectors on the D/S- no problems (ohm out great). I even let the truck warm up and idle codes remained after buzz test. After double checking it again I installed a new IDM- this time I got the following codes after a buzz test: According to the service literature that is a "GO". Got less that 5 ohms total for all the wiring. So I installed a new IDM after testing the wiring from the IDM plug to the driver's side injector connectors. P0284- Cylinder 8 out of balance malfunction Perfromed cylinder contribution self test: Then I did a KOEO Inj buzz test- got the following: * Cleared codes and only P1316 reappeared.
